Who we are

The GCF Executive Committee includes CEOs of the top 12 exhibition companies and 3 leading industry bodies globally.

The focus areas for the GCF are reviewed and set annually by the Executive Committee, seeking import from the Advisory Board which includes 75 exhibitor companies and 29 associations.

Collectively, the GCF represents approximately 65 -70% of global box office.

Meet the Executive Committee

The Chairperson is voted in by the GCF Executive Committee for a period of two years. The first year as Vice-Chair and the second year as Chairperson.

Jane Hastings

Jane Hastings is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EVT Limited, a role she has held since June 2017. EVT (Entertainment, Ventures, Travel) an ASX listed top 200 company that includes Event Cinemas Australia/New Zealand & CineStar Germany.
Jane has more than 25 years of diverse experience within the travel, media and entertainment industries.
Sean Gamble

GCF Vice Chairperson 2024
(Chairperson from April 2025 to March 2026)
Sean Gamble is the President and CEO of Cinemark, a role he has held since January 2022. Previously, he served as President from July 2021, COO from 2018, and CFO from 2014.
Before joining Cinemark, Sean was EVP and CFO of Universal Pictures at NBCUniversal from 2009 to 2014 and held senior leadership roles at General Electric for 15 years.
